Kae Allen writes stories layered with heart, tension, and just the right amount of eerie charm. Her debut paranormal cozy mystery, Under the Dark Moon, is the first in a series set in the fog-laced town of Oak Grove, where secrets bloom and the past doesn’t stay quiet.

Before ghosts and manor houses, Kae co-authored two humor books that captured the chaos and comedy of motherhood. Her writing has appeared in collaborative author projects, and she’s passionate about crafting stories that feel both entertaining and emotionally honest.

Kae lives in Tennessee with her husband David, a rotating cast of grown kids and grandkids, and one very spoiled dog named Bernie. When she’s not writing, she’s rewatching mystery films, testing out new cookie recipes, or dreaming up new storylines that involve old houses, forgotten diaries, and just a hint of magic.

Her stories are cinematic. Her characters are full of soul. And her goal is simple: make you feel something—and maybe leave a light on at night.
